    Unesco declared flamenco as a World Heritage Site

    Flamenco is already part of the Representative List of Intangible Heritage of Humanity on the decision Tuesday by the Intergovernmental Committee of UNESCO Intangible Heritage, meeting from Monday to Friday in Nairobi (Kenya) and consists of 24 members , a recognition that choose 47 candidates from 31 states parties.

    Saura premiere of "flamenco, flamenco" at the European Film Festival Seville, 7 sep (EFE).

    Carlos Saura released on November 11 in Seville under the European Film Festival, and in the course of a gala, his latest work 'Flamenco, Flamenco'.

    With this film, shot in Seville, Saura aims to "show the evolution of the songs, dances and music of this beautiful art." Sevilla Festival will be held from 5 to November 13, according to the Festival in a statement.

    Paco de Lucia, closing concert of the Biennial

    The Cadiz Paco de Lucia is responsible for putting an end to this year's Bienal de Flamenco bringing the best of flamenco to the public from Seville. The guitarist, fundamental to understanding contemporary flamenco guitar and one of the highest regard universal in this area, will offer a concert put the finishing touch to the sixteenth edition of the Bienal de Flamenco.
